Skilled workers who have work experience outside Canada and want to work and live permanently in Canada may apply through FSWP.
Introduction to : Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
Federal Skilled Worker Program was launched in 1967 and since then it has been the most popular economic class immigration program which allows foreign skilled workers to live and work permanently in Canada as long as they have the right skills, experience, and education needed by the labour market of Canada.
In 2020, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) temporarily paused the Federal Skilled Worker Program of the Express Entry system. However, in July 2022, it resumed inviting candidates for permanent residency.
