NCIC 2021: Chitra Welcomes Attendees As CAPIC’s BC Chapter Chair

As the BC Chapter Chair of the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants (CAPIC), Chitra extends a warm welcome to her immigration colleagues,
National Citizenship and Immigration Conference (NCIC)

What is the national citizenship and immigration conference (nCIC)?

The National Citizenship and Immigration Conference (NCIC) is an annual immigration conference organized by the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants (CAPIC). NCIC 2021 will take place this week from Thursday, October 28 to Friday, October 29, bringing immigration consultants, CAPIC members, industry leaders, and government officials together to learn about new opportunities in the industry. The conference has a different theme every year and bases its agenda of it. This year, NCIC will feature a variety of engaging activities and discussions including mock hearings and sessions and even business and technology boot camps.

What is this year’s national citizenship and immigration conference (nCIC) theme?

The 2021 theme of The National Citizenship and Immigration Conference (NCIC) is “Make your Mark: Evolving Practice and Expanding Opportunities”. Hence, this year’s agenda focuses on the next generation of leaders, encouraging thoughtful conversations about specialization, adaptation, and innovation in the immigration industry. As our virtual world continues to expand, the immigration profession becomes increasingly technology-driven, constantly using and relying upon online portals and even, in some cases, artificial intelligence (AI).

On this note, here are some of upcoming discussions to be covered in NCIC’s 2021 agenda:
