Express Entry Draw #163: Biggest Drop Since All-Program Draws Resumed in July

express entry draw september 16

An all-program draw was held on September 16th which saw invitations for 4,200 applicants through the Express Entry programs

Candidates needed a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 472 to be invited in this invitation round. This was three points lower than the last all-program draw held on September 2nd. 4,200 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for this draw. Today’s draw brings the total number of ITAs issued this year to 74,150 so far in 2020 – a new record for this date.

Today’s tie break rule had a timestamp of March 09, 2020 at 13:03:40 UTC. The tie-breaking rule is used by IRCC to rank candidates who have the same score. As per this draw’s tie breaking rule, those candidates with scores of 472 who entered their profile in the Express Entry pool before March 09, 2020 at 13:03:40 UTC receive an ITA in this round.
